Shocking Update: Taylor Kinney Goes Shirtless in Chicago Fire BTS Photos – And Fans Are Loving It!

Fans of Chicago Fire are in for a treat as behind-the-scenes snapshots from Season 13, Episode 12 (“Relief Cut”) have surfaced, giving a sneak peek at

Taylor Kinney in action. The beloved actor, known for playing Kelly Severide, was caught on set—shirtless and whipping up breakfast in a scene set to air on Wednesday, February 19.

With his domestic side on full display, Kinney’s Severide is seen cooking, making Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) one lucky woman. The exclusive

behind-the-scenes content, shared by crew member Anthony Lullo on February 5, offers a glimpse into the relaxed yet lively atmosphere on set.

Taylor Kinney Shows Off His Skills – On and Off the Set

The candid photos showcase Kinney engaging in multiple activities, from preparing food to playing around with a golf club in between takes. Viewers also get a look at key filming locations, including the firehouse, the streets of Chicago, and Molly’s Bar. One standout image captures Captain Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg) giving a skeptical look at something—or someone—creating curiosity about what’s to come in the episode.

But in real life, Kinney’s breakfast habits are far from gourmet. In a 2023 NBC feature about morning routines, he shared his go-to meal: “Two chocolate Oreos and two vanilla Oreos, dunked in whole milk.” He jokingly called it a quick and easy breakfast, saying, “Bing-bam-boom, I’m out the door and ready for the day.”

Kinney Feels at Home on the Chicago Fire Set

Kinney’s relaxed energy on set is no surprise, as he has often spoken about his deep connection to both Chicago Fire and the city itself. In an interview with TODAY, he reflected on how much the city has changed over the years but emphasized how special it remains to him. “This is home,” he shared. “Chicago has been good to me, and I love it here.”

His appreciation for the show’s longevity is evident as well. Speaking to Us Weekly in May 2022, Kinney credited Chicago Fire’s success to creator Dick Wolf and the hardworking cast and crew. He even revealed that he enjoys singing and dancing—sometimes with a mouth full of food—while filming, proving just how much fun he has on set.

The Wildest Set in the One Chicago Universe

It’s no secret that the Chicago Fire set has a reputation for being the liveliest of the One Chicago franchise. Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd) once joked about the differences between the shows, explaining, “When you visit Chicago Med, it’s like a sophisticated dinner party. Chicago P.D. has a tougher, more intense energy. But when you step onto Chicago Fire, it’s a complete circus—we’re loud, we’re laughing, and it feels exactly like a real firehouse.”
