Spoiler: Celeste and Bia’s Friendship Comes to a Bitter End in Garota do Momento
In Garota do Momento, Celeste (Debora Ozório) and Bia (Maisa) have a major falling out. Celeste confronts Bia after discovering the manipulative nature of Bia’s actions. The redhead scolds her friend for sleeping with Ronaldo (João Vitor Silva) solely to lose her virginity and manipulate her way into forcing a marriage with Beto (Pedro Novaes). Bia, however, defends herself and threatens to expose that Celeste isn’t a virgin anymore, either. This exchange leads Celeste to snap, ending their friendship. Bia is left to face the reality of losing her closest companions, which hits her hard.
In upcoming scenes, set to air starting on Monday, May 7, during Beto and Bia’s engagement party, Ronaldo reveals to everyone that he slept with Bia, and it was entirely her idea. He exposes her cruel plan to lose her virginity, secure a medical report, and continue to lie about Beto being the one who took her innocence. Bia responds with dramatic denial, claiming everyone is conspiring against her and continuing to weave a web of lies.
Despite her outbursts, Beto’s family leaves the mansion devastated, but Juliano (Fabio Assunção) decides to keep Beto and Bia’s engagement intact. The following day, on Tuesday, May 8, Celeste approaches Bia to confront her about the manipulations and deceit. Celeste is deeply disappointed and disgusted by the cruelty of Bia’s actions. However, Bia dismisses her friend’s concerns, showing no remorse. Instead, she threatens to expose that Celeste is no longer a virgin, having lost it to Edu (Caio Manhente), if Celeste continues to criticize her.
Feeling betrayed and humiliated, Celeste angrily ends their friendship, and soon after, she shares her feelings with Eugênia (Klara Castanho), who also decides to distance herself from Bia. Later, Bia tries to approach the two, as if nothing has changed, but they both ignore her and leave her standing alone, devastated.
Bia’s rage boils over as she vows that soon she’ll be a married woman and will make new friends, but deep down, she is hurt by the loss of her connection with Celeste and Eugênia. This marks the beginning of Bia’s isolation, despite her attempt to maintain her manipulative exterior. Her sense of loneliness grows as she loses the last of the friendships she had.
This dramatic breakup highlights the consequences of Bia’s actions, showing her cruel side and the unraveling of the relationships she once held dear. The fallout from her schemes promises to create more tension and drama in Garota do Momento as Bia faces the emotional consequences of her choices.
