“One Chicago” Universe Goes Audio: Official Podcast to Take Fans Behind the Badge, Blaze, and Bedside

For the first time, fans of “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” will be able to get behind the scenes access to the entire franchise with the official “One Chicago Podcast.”

On Friday, during the “One Chicago” panel at ATX TV Festival, Steven Weber of “Chicago Med” and Marina Squerciati of “Chicago P.D.” announced the news of the podcast. The host will be announced at a later date. The podcast will produced by Wolf Entertaiment and USG Audio.

During the episodes, fans will get “a 360-degree view of the One Chicago universe and the creative engine that powers it,” per a press release. The podcast will include long-form interviews with cast members, writers, producers and crew from all three series. Each week, the host will share exclusive stories and dissect the making of the shows — from the stunts to the storylines. Additonally, fans will have the opportunity to get involved in recurring segments.

New episodes of the podcast will launch on Thursdays during the upcoming TV season.

In the fall, the lineup will return with Season 11 of “Chicago Med,” Season 14 of “Chicago Fire” and Season 13 of “Chicago P.D.” All three shows, produced by Universal TV, reached nearly 46 million total viewers last season to-date across NBC

Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski are executive producers across all three procedurals. “Chicago Med” executive producers are Allen MacDonald and Stephen Hootstein. Andrea Newman, Reza Tabrizi and Matt Whitney are executive producers on “Chicago Fire,” while “Chicago P.D.” executive producers include Gwen Sigan, Chad Saxton, Gavin Harris and Jason Beghe.
