“Massive One Chicago Crossover Brings Together Fire, Med, and PD in Explosive 3-Part Event”

The wait is over: Chicago’s biggest heroes are back together.

For the first time in six years, Chicago Fire kicked off a massive One Chicago crossover event, starting with “In the Trenches: Part I.” The plot follows a gas explosion at a crowded concert venue, pulling in fire crews, doctors, and detectives alike.

Firehouse 51 leads the charge, with Severide, Kidd, Mouch, and Herrmann racing against time. Meanwhile, Dr. Halstead from Chicago Med and Voight from PD bring their own drama.

Ratings soared, with fans calling it “the best crossover since 2019.” NBC is already teasing another event for Season 14.
