“What’s up, guys? Tommy Bo here from Movie Rewind, and today, we’re diving into my updated Casualty character tier ranking! It’s been two years since my last ranking, and with all the changes in the cast since then, it’s time to shake things up and revisit the characters. Let’s see who’s made it to the top, and who’s fallen flat.”
Disclaimer:
This is all just my opinion, so don’t take it too seriously! I’m ranking characters based on their likability, storyline development, and overall character complexity. S Tier is the top, flawless tier—characters that are irreplaceable and always enjoyable on screen. F Tier, on the other hand, is for those I don’t really care about, and it wouldn’t matter if they left the show. Spoilers ahead!
S Tier: The Legends
Dylan Kog
It’s no surprise here—Dylan is my all-time favorite Casualty character! William Beck delivers a flawless performance. Dylan has a complex backstory, including his alcoholism struggles, which have been powerful and poignant throughout the years. His humor and depth are unmatched. I truly hope he stays as a staple on the show for years to come. S Tier.
A Tier: The Strong Performers
Stevie Nash
Stevie’s journey has been fascinating, and I’m glad to say I’ve come around to her. I didn’t love her at first, but now she’s one of my favorites. Her complex relationships and the vulnerable side she’s shown, especially in her affair storyline, have made her a standout. Elena Lawless nails the role, and I hope she sticks around. A Tier.
Jan Jennings
Jan is the perfect mother figure for the paramedics. She’s always there for her team and takes her role seriously. The Swiss euthanasia storyline was so emotional and gave her a lot of depth. Debra Stephenson’s portrayal is incredible, and Jan is now one of my favorites. A Tier.
Jodie White
Jodie has quickly become a fan favorite, and I totally get why! Her confidence and boldness make her such a relatable character. Her storyline with her estranged father, Max, and her harrowing experience with the drink-spiking incident were brilliantly handled. Anna Chell is such a promising talent, and I can’t wait to see where Jod’s journey goes. A Tier.
B Tier: The Solid Characters
Siobhan McKenzie
Siobhan’s journey as the first female clinical lead at Hoby City ED has been really interesting. She’s tough but compassionate, always fighting for her team. Her storylines, especially the affair with her husband, have added complexity. Overall, she’s solid, but I still think there’s more to explore with her. B Tier.
Nicole Piper
Nicole has quickly made a name for herself as a likable and relatable character. Her surrogate journey was full of emotional moments, and I love her budding romance with Go. I’m excited to see her development in the future. B Tier.
Faith Kadigan
Faith has gone through a tremendous character arc, especially with her addiction struggles. It was heartbreaking to watch her fall into addiction, and her recovery storyline has been strong. She’s a great character who’s made a significant impact on the show. B Tier.
Ian Dean
Ian’s mental health storyline was a standout for me, making him a lot more relatable and human. His relationship with Faith adds a nice dynamic to the show, and I’d love to see them both have a happy ending. B Tier.
C Tier: The Potential But Unfinished
Cam MWI
Barney Walsh’s Cam was met with a lot of skepticism at first, especially due to his famous father, but he’s grown on me. His backstory of being abused by a mentor adds depth to his awkward and shy persona. I do think there’s room for more development here, but I’m excited to see where it goes. C Tier.
Jacob Masters
Jacob’s switch from nurse to paramedic was a big shift, and I was skeptical, but I actually enjoy him more in this role. He’s not my favorite character, though, and sometimes his arrogance can make him a bit unlikeable. I still think he’s a good character overall, though. C Tier.
Nooi Okoy
Nooi’s relationship with Nicole has potential, but overall, there’s not much to her character yet. She’s likable, but we need more development to really get invested in her. C Tier.
D Tier: The Missed Opportunities
Teddy Gowan
Teddy’s storyline with male rape was a brave choice, and I appreciate the writers for tackling it. However, outside of that, I feel like Teddy hasn’t done much for me. His relationship with Paige was solid, but he just doesn’t have the same impact as other characters. D Tier.
Rita Amman
Rita hasn’t had much screen time or development since her introduction. I think she has potential, but right now, she’s not standing out as much as I’d hoped. The whistleblower storyline was interesting, but it feels like it was forgotten too quickly. D Tier.
E Tier: The Unforgettable (In a Negative Way)
Sophia Peters
Sophia is one of the trickier characters for me. While I do enjoy her awkward relationship with Dylan, sometimes she can come off as a bit unlikable. Her inconsistencies in her behavior make it hard for me to fully connect with her. E Tier.
TK Hussein
TK has not impressed me so far. His selfishness, especially towards Rash during the suicide storyline, really soured me on him. He’s just an unlikable character at the moment, and I feel like his arc hasn’t offered anything of substance yet. F Tier.
Indie Jisy
Indie is new, and it’s really too early to rank her. From her brief appearance, she seems to have promise, but we need more time to see where her character goes. D Tier for now.

That’s my updated Casualty character tier ranking for 2025! There have been some amazing new additions, and some characters have definitely had their time to shine.
