Adele recently opened the doors of her lavish $9.5 million Los Angeles mansion for Vogue’s 73 Questions series, giving fans a glimpse into her stunning home. Among the highlights of the tour was her son Angelo’s massive play structure in the backyard. This impressive wooden playset features colorful peep holes and a slide, making it clear that Angelo, who Adele shares with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, is living the dream with this fun addition to their garden.
Though the pandemic has kept Adele from returning to her hometown of London, she’s done her best to make her Beverly Hills mansion feel like home. In fact, she mentioned that the decor in her home reminds her of her roots, adding a touch of familiarity and comfort.
Adele also gave a sneak peek of her garden patio, which features a lovely row of shrubs and plants that create a natural barrier between the house and her pool. She even compared the space to the famous “Grey Gardens,” showing off how she’s transformed the area into a serene retreat.
The highlight for many, however, was the impressive children’s playset in the backyard, which would be right at home in a royal estate. The setup is elaborate, with two slides, a climbing frame, a tightrope, a helter-skelter, and two types of climbing walls, making it a dream playground for any child. This isn’t the first time such lavish playsets have been associated with famous families – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Montecito home also boasts a similar playground for their children, Archie and Lilibet. In fact, a vintage photo of Prince William and Prince Harry revealed a climbing frame and slide in their childhood home at Highgrove House, a luxury setup comparable to Adele’s.
Despite her incredible wealth and three Beverly Hills homes worth a combined $29.5 million, Adele admitted that her childhood home in London was the most meaningful place she’s ever lived. She fondly recalled growing up in North London’s Tottenham, later moving to South London, where she spent her teenage years in a house she described as “the best house I’ve ever lived in,” where she lived with her mother. This reflection on her humble beginnings offers a stark contrast to her present life in Beverly Hills, but also highlights the deep emotional connection she still feels to her roots.
