Adele just had to say “Hello” to a special guest at her Las Vegas residency this weekend.
On Saturday, as the Grammy winner was performing “When We Were Young” during her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, she stopped mid-song to greet the doctor who delivered her son back in 2012.
“Oh my God, Colin,” the singer, 35, said while getting emotional, before walking over toward the audience member, per a video of the encounter. “Oh my God. This is my doctor that gave birth to my baby. I haven’t seen you in years.”
The wholesome display took place as Adele wore a gothic look for Halloween, and gave Colin a hug in a sweet embrace. “Sorry,” Adele told the crowd as she got choked up, needing them to continue the song.
“Will you sing it for me? That man delivered my baby.”
Adele welcomed her son Angelo in October 2012 and shares her child with charity executive Simon Konecki. The pair split in 2019.
Elsewhere during her Saturday show, Adele opened up about her hopes to add another little one to her life. “I’m desperate for another baby, Colin,” Adele told the crowd in Vegas, per another video. “Bloody hell.”
The musician has previously spoken about her desire to have another child, as back in August she said the same at another one of her residency gigs. “I really want to be a mom again soon,” Adele told the crowd after an audience member asked her for help choosing a baby name.
“I’ve actually been writing lists,” she added. “So every time I see a name that I like, I write it down in my phone.”
During the exchange, Adele even mentioned her partner, sports agent Rich Paul, as she teased that he had his own ideas for potential baby names. After the concert-goer asked Adele to pick between the names Parker and Spencer, she replied: “I can’t say Parker because Rich likes that name.”
Adele has opened up about motherhood beyond just her interactions with fans, too. Back in 2022, the singer told Elle that she wanted to give Angelo a sibling. “I definitely want more kids. I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music,” she said.
“Right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I want to f—ing nail it,” she added.
In June 2022, Paul — who has three children of his own — spoke with E! News about how fatherhood was “pretty tough” while growing his sports agency as a young dad. “But now looking as an older dad and my kids being much older, and obviously, if I was to have more kids,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to being a different dad, a more patient dad
