Rob’s last stand in Coronation Street sees death danger for Carla

Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) made a shocking return to Coronation Street earlier this year, and since then, he has been wreaking havoc, particularly targeting his sister, Carla Connor (Alison King). Rob’s sinister plans began when he exploited Carla’s need for a kidney transplant to orchestrate his escape from prison. However, his initial attempt was foiled by DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers). After some time, Rob managed to break out of the hospital, leading to a terrifying situation where he took both Carla and Lisa hostage, only to be left for dead at the bottom of a staircase.

Now, Rob is no longer just focused on escaping; he’s fueled by a burning desire for revenge. In recent scenes, Rob has reconnected with his former lover, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), and begged her for assistance. However, things take a dark and unexpected turn when he pulls a gun on her. Rob refuses any medical help, insisting that he needs to see Carla.

In upcoming episodes, Rob forces Tracy to summon Carla to No.1, telling her that it’s for a business proposition. Carla, who thought Rob had left the country for good, is left shocked when she arrives at the location and comes face to face with him. Rob, clearly in pain and holding a gun, has dragged Carla into a truly dangerous and life-threatening situation. It’s unclear whether Rob will choose to flee and escape, or if he will act on his thirst for vengeance.

As the hostage situation intensifies, Detective Lisa becomes aware of the dangerous standoff and puts herself at risk to intervene. In an intense moment, she pleads with Rob to lower the gun, warning him that shooting Carla would add years to his prison sentence. Rob, however, forces Lisa to lock the door and sit next to Carla, keeping them both at gunpoint as he grows more unhinged.

The tension reaches its peak as the situation becomes increasingly deadly. Will Rob take the opportunity to flee the cobbles with Tracy, or will he follow through with his violent intentions to finish what he started with Carla? As the standoff escalates, a gunshot is heard, and viewers are left on edge, wondering who will be struck by the bullet.

With Coronation Street‘s latest spoilers teasing even more drama and peril, fans are eagerly speculating about the outcome of this deadly confrontation.
