Adele bids farewell to Vegas, looks toward family life… and maybe a new baby

Adele has closed the curtain on her celebrated Las Vegas residency, leaving fans speculating about her next chapter.

Adele ready for life off the stage

The British singer performed her 100th and final show at Caesars Palace on Saturday, marking the end of a two-year run that saw her interact closely with fans and deliver emotionally charged performances.

“I’m so sad this residency is over, but I am so glad that it happened, I really, really am,” the Grammy-winning artist tearfully told the audience.

“I will miss it terribly, I will miss you terribly. I don’t know when I next want to perform again.”

The 36-year-old singer, who announced in September that fans wouldn’t see her for “an incredibly long time,” has made it clear she’s ready to prioritize her personal life.

Speaking during the residency earlier this year, Adele revealed plans to expand her family with fiancé Rich Paul, saying, “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby.”

Already a mother to 11-year-old Angelo, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki, Adele has expressed her hopes for a daughter, joking, “She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”

Is Adele thinking of acting in Hollywood?

Marriage is also on the horizon.

Adele confirmed her engagement in August after months of speculation, telling a fan during a concert in Munich, “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married!”

Reports suggest Rich Paul proposed in her hometown of Tottenham, London, earlier this year.

Despite her career hiatus, rumors swirl about Adele’s potential venture into acting.

According to insiders, she has been taking acting lessons and exploring roles in Hollywood.

“When she commits to something, she does it 100 percent,” a source shared.

For now, Adele is embracing rest and uncertainty. “I just need a rest,” she explained.

“I’ve spent the last seven years building a new life for myself, and I want to live it now.”

As for her immediate plans, she quipped during her final Vegas show, “I guess I’ll just day-drink!”

While Adele’s return to music remains uncertain, fans can rest assured that when the time comes, her comeback will be nothing short of spectacular.
